1 – How often should my lawn be cut?

During the fast-growing months of September through to May we recommend mowing every 7–14 days. During the slower-growing months of May to August, every 3 or 4 weeks.

2 – What is top dressing?

The more natural way to ensure your lawn’s maximum growth is by spreading a light layer of composted organic matter and or sand on your turf. This process is called top dressing, and many homeowners use this method as a sustainable way to keep their lawns healthy and thriving.

3 – Why is overseeding good for your lawns?

By oversowing lawn seed into your existing lawn, you’ll fill in patches, thicken and strengthen your lawn and protect it from an invasion of weeds and diseases. Overseeding also helps new grass retain its green color longer especially in the drier months.

4 – How do I get rid of bindii and clover from my lawns?

We use and recommend Amgrow Bin-Die
This weed-killer is a selective herbicide that will control your clover, as well as other common weeds like bindii. Amgrow Bin-Die comes in a concentrated form, so it will need to be diluted in a watering can or pressure sprayer.

5 – When does my lawn need fertilizer?

We recommend doing it twice a year. Once in the Autumn months to protect it throughout the Winter period and once in Spring to help boost the growth and carry you through the Summer months.

6 – How often do you bill and how do I pay you?

We send invoices daily with a payment period of up to 14 days. We accept, cash, bank transfer as well as cheques.

7 – Does the mowing services include weeding garden beds or trimming of shrubs?

Our standard mowing service includes lawn mowing, trimming of edges, as well as blow/vac cleaning of all driveways and footpaths leaving the property neat and tidy. We recommend that you move out as much clutter from the rooms that are to have the carpets cleaned as possible. Our team is able to assist in moving larger items such as lounges, tables, etc.
